At Kaleidoscope Designs, I believe every stitch tells a story. My journey began with a simple fascination for the intricate beauty of cross-stitch and needlepoint at the age of 10. After teaching in public school for 42 years and finally retiring, I decided to devote more time to my favorite hobby, needlework, while also enjoying traveling, camping, and fishing with my husband.

We spend a lot of time at a nearby lake, which made me want to find a “Lake Life” pattern. After searching for over a year, I decided to create my own. I knew I needed a computer program to chart it out, so I found one and experimented with it until, two years later, I finally designed the Lake Life pattern. That first pattern has been so popular that I began creating many more.

I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to create patterns and kits that I hope will become keepsakes for you and your family.
